Software Engineer – Platform / Core Infrastructure

About the role

We are looking for a Software Engineer focused on Platform and Core Infrastructure to design and build the distributed systems that power XBOW’s AI engine. You will work in an ambiguous, fast‑moving environment, delivering reliable, secure infrastructure across multiple cloud providers and on‑premise deployments.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and operate scalable infrastructure that runs on AWS, Azure, OCI and on‑prem environments.
• Optimize compute, storage, networking and observability services for performance and reliability.
• Develop core services in TypeScript, Kotlin and Go, and quickly adopt new languages as needed.
• Support large‑scale, event‑driven architectures and own the full lifecycle from design to production support.
• Collaborate with engineers, AI researchers and security experts to enable rapid product development.
• Implement disaster recovery and business continuity strategies to ensure high availability.

Required profile

• Strong passion for building infrastructure as a product and solving complex performance problems.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and define both what and how to build.
• Experience working in high‑trust, high‑velocity teams.
