Software Engineer, New Grad (AI)

About the role

As a New Graduate AI Engineer at Notion, you will help shape core user experiences and accelerate the discovery of value in Notion’s AI‑powered workspace. Working closely with design, product and data teams, you will build and ship features that leverage large language models, embeddings and other cutting‑edge AI technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with your team to prototype and ship AI‑driven product improvements.
• Own a scoped productionisation project: integrate a new model or technique, add monitoring and guardrails, and optimise latency, cost or reliability.
• Develop and extend evaluation frameworks, run experiments, analyse results and feed learnings back into product or system changes.
• Contribute to AI‑focused teams such as product engineering, model & systems engineering, or evaluation & quality, depending on business needs.

Required profile

• Pursuing or recently completed a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Available to start full‑time before 27 July 2026.
• Previous internship experience in software development.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, TypeScript or JavaScript/React.
