About the role
As a Software Engineer at Applied Materials, you’ll dive deep into ground‑breaking technologies—like machine learning and AI—to craft novel software solutions that solve high‑value customer problems. You will design, prototype, develop, and debug software for semiconductor equipment components and devices.
Key responsibilities
- Design, prototype and develop software solutions for semiconductor equipment components and devices with limited complexity.
- Develop software documentation and test procedures.
- Troubleshoot software problems of limited difficulty.
- Communicate with internal customers to understand project requirements.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software/system engineering, cyber security or mathematics.
- Familiarity with basic theories and concepts of software engineering.
- Proficiency in C#, C/C++, and .Net.
