Mgr, Business Intelligence Analyst

About the role

Applied Materials is seeking a Manager, Business Intelligence Analyst to define and drive the global BI strategy and analytics standards. You will lead a team, influence stakeholders, and ensure BI solutions meet technical and business requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Define and articulate the Business Intelligence strategy and analytics standards globally, with some supervision.
• Educate and influence key stakeholders across the business and GIS, leading design and execution of the BI roadmap.
• Recruit, train, develop, and provide performance guidance to the assigned team.
• Provide leadership on platform decisions, ensuring scalability, security, flexibility, and supportability.
• Manage the common utilization of BI technology platforms across projects and provide thought leadership to solution architects and data governance analysts.

Required profile

• Demonstrates in‑depth understanding of Business Intelligence concepts and basic knowledge of related job families.
• Applies industry knowledge to contribute to organizational objectives.
• Manages a homogeneous team, adapting plans to meet service and operational challenges.
• Identifies and resolves technical, operational, and organizational problems.
• Guides, influences, and persuades internal and external stakeholders.
