Software Engineer - Maps Infrastructure

About the role

Applied Intuition is seeking a senior Software Engineer to own and evolve its high‑definition (HD) maps infrastructure. You will work on a suite of products that leverage HD maps for localization, data querying, visualization, and inspection across global‑scale maps.

Key responsibilities

• Own the maps infrastructure across all Applied Intuition products.
• Define and extend the map storage format to support additional features and efficient distribution.
• Collaborate with engineers and customers on current and future designs, features, and data pipelines.

Required profile

• Experience building software components or subsystems that solve real‑world mapping and localization challenges.
• Background in autonomous‑vehicle or simulation products.
• Working knowledge of C++ and/or Python.
• At least 2 years of professional software‑engineering experience.
