Software Engineer, iOS/Mobile

About the role

Beacon AI Inc. is seeking a talented iOS/Mobile Software Engineer to build mission‑critical applications that improve flight safety and operational efficiency. You will work on a fast‑moving hybrid team, delivering real‑time, user‑facing features that directly support pilots in the cockpit.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement high‑performance iOS features using Swift, SwiftUI, and modern mobile frameworks.
• Integrate complex internal and external APIs to provide real‑time flight data and sensor information to pilots.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and product designers to create intuitive, safety‑critical mobile experiences.
• Maintain code quality, performance, and reliability in a high‑stakes environment.

Required profile

• 2+ years of professional iOS development experience.
• Proficiency in Swift and SwiftUI, with exposure to UIKit and multithreading.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and comfort with asynchronous programming (async/await or GCD).
• U.S. Person status (Citizen or Green Card) and residence within commuting distance of San Carlos.
