Software Engineer, iOS/Mobile – Health Wearable

About the role

Beacon AI is looking for an iOS Software Engineer with a strong background in health and wearable technology. You will join a fast‑moving mobile team to create iOS applications that monitor flight crew health and deliver real‑time insights for safety and operational awareness.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement iOS features using Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, and modern iOS frameworks.
• Build and maintain health‑focused mobile apps that integrate with HealthKit and wearable devices.
• Structure complex, data‑rich user interfaces to visualize large streams of biometric data.
• Create polished charts and dashboards for health metrics.
• Integrate wearable hardware for real‑time health monitoring.
• Apply data security and privacy best practices, including Keychain and encrypted storage.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and designers, participate in code reviews, and follow iOS architectural patterns.
• Ensure code quality, performance, and maintainability through testing and documentation.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience developing iOS applications or equivalent experience through internships, projects, or coursework.
• Strong eye for design and ability to translate large datasets into clear visual interfaces.
• Experience building charts, dashboards, or data visualizations on iOS.
• Understanding of iOS data security and privacy practices.
