Software Engineer III, Mobile (iOS), XR

About the role

Google’s XR team is building user‑facing experiences for AR Glasses Maps, enabling intuitive navigation on AI Glasses. As a Software Engineer III you will develop iOS applications that bring information instantly to users.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement iOS features for AR Glasses Maps.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate computer‑vision and AR capabilities.
• Maintain code quality, diagnose issues, and ensure system health.
• Contribute to performance analysis and large‑scale data visualization tools.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 2 years of professional iOS development using Objective‑C or Swift.
• Experience with performance analysis, debugging, and software test engineering.
• Preferred: Master’s or PhD, and experience with large‑scale systems, data structures, algorithms, computer vision, and augmented reality.

What we offer

• Salary range $147,000 – $211,000 per year.
