Software Engineer – CI/CD (Remote)

About the role

Joint Strategic Technologies is seeking a senior Software Engineer specialized in CI/CD to join its remote team. The role focuses on designing, building, and maintaining automated deployment pipelines within an Oracle Cloud environment.

Key responsibilities

• Use DevOps technologies and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins) to build, test, and maintain robust automated deployment pipelines in Oracle Cloud.
• Collaborate with program management to assess feasibility, scalability, and viability of continuous delivery plans and CI/CD designs.
• Define automation architecture requirements and establish standards for CI/CD pipeline design, security (DevSecOps), and deployment.
• Develop technical designs and specifications for complex, multi‑environment CI/CD release strategies and automation workflows.
• Serve as the primary CI/CD and automation technical resource as needed.
• Participate in the design, development, and implementation of large‑scale CI/CD infrastructure, release automation projects, and major deployment solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum ten years of relevant experience in CI/CD and DevOps.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to pass drug and background checks.
• Strong experience with Jenkins, Git, and scripting languages.
• Demonstrated experience designing and operating CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
