Software Engineer 1 – Mobile Apps (Kotlin required)

About the role

Choice Hotels is seeking a Software Engineer 1 to join its Digital Experience Domain. You will work on the native mobile applications that power the guest journey, delivering high‑quality code in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Write clean, maintainable code for Android and iOS mobile apps.
• Collaborate with product, design, analytics, and QA teams throughout the development lifecycle.
• Participate in sprint demos, retrospectives, and code reviews.
• Deliver well‑tested features and ensure releases meet quality standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 1+ years of experience with Unix/Linux environments and shell scripting.
• Proficiency in mobile development using Java, Swift, or Kotlin.
• Experience with source control (Git) and unit testing frameworks.
