Software Developer

About the role

We are seeking a talented and motivated Software Developer to join our growing engineering team in New York City. In this role you will design, build, and scale high‑quality software systems that power core products and services while collaborating closely with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services, APIs, and distributed systems.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver reliable, user‑focused solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous integration/continuous deployment pipelines.
• Contribute to architecture decisions and help evolve microservices and containerized environments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, Java, Go, JavaScript, TypeScript).
• Experience building scalable backend services, APIs, or distributed systems.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Hands‑on experience with Git, CI/CD, and automated testing.
• Excellent problem‑solving and debugging abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross‑functional environment.
