Software Developer

About the role

Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits is seeking a Software Developer to design, build, and maintain in‑house applications that support our beverage distribution business. You will work closely with business stakeholders to translate requirements into reliable code and help drive innovation across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, implement, and support software applications.
• Ensure technical validity of solutions and produce in‑code and user documentation.
• Participate in Agile teams and drive Behavior‑Driven Design (BDD) processes.
• Structure requirements to enable automated acceptance testing.
• Provide end‑user support, troubleshoot code issues, and maintain application stability.
• Obtain any necessary certifications and contribute to business and technical process documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in software development.
• Foundational experience with Databricks‑based AI or agent development.
• Proficiency in Python programming.
• Exposure to Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG), and related AI techniques.
