Software Developer – Full‑Time (Various Levels)

About the role

The Software Developer will act as Key Personnel within the Application & Web Support team, delivering full‑lifecycle engineering, sustainment, and modernization of DoD digital solutions. The position requires a Secret clearance and adherence to DoD cybersecurity standards.

Key responsibilities

• Provide Tier 3 sustainment, defect resolution, and code fixes for custom applications such as Command Task Tracker, Equipment Readiness Dashboard, CPA, ITS, Nintex workflows, and SharePoint Online solutions.
• Refactor and modernize legacy Java, ColdFusion, and .NET applications to improve stability, performance, and maintainability.
• Execute database schema updates, query optimization, and data‑rights packaging for Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle environments.
• Remediate security vulnerabilities, address STIG findings, and apply patches in line with RMF standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or related field.
• Minimum five years of full‑stack development experience supporting enterprise web and database applications.
• Active Secret clearance and eligibility for IT Privileged User access.
• Knowledge of Section 508 accessibility requirements.
