Software Developer / Data Engineer

About the role

Stoa Group is seeking a Software Developer / Data Engineer to enhance and support its in‑house technology platform that powers real‑estate operations across the Gulf Coast and Southeast. The role focuses on backend development, databases, APIs, cloud‑hosted applications, and data infrastructure, delivering tools used daily by property managers, asset managers, construction teams, and leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain backend applications, APIs, and system integrations.
• Write, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL queries, stored procedures, and database processes.
• Develop and support data pipelines that move information between business systems.
• Support cloud‑hosted applications, deployments, monitoring, and system performance.
• Investigate and resolve data, application, and integration issues.
• Automate recurring processes and identify efficiency improvements.
• Participate in testing, code reviews, and deployment activities.
• Partner with business teams to translate challenges into practical technology solutions.
• Contribute ideas to improve the platform, development process, and user experience.
