Social Media Intern

About the role

Player 15 Group is looking for a motivated Social Media Intern to support the Mortgage Matchup Center. You will help create and execute content across Instagram, TikTok and other platforms, while gaining hands‑on experience in a fast‑paced sports and entertainment environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute content strategies for Instagram and TikTok that highlight events at the Mortgage Matchup Center.
• Create daily, platform‑specific posts to drive engagement and maintain brand consistency.
• Maintain the social media calendar and coordinate with the Arena Marketing team on integrated campaigns.
• Engage with fans, manage community interactions, and respond to customer inquiries across social channels.
• Capture real‑time photography and video on event days, produce fan‑focused TikToks, and publish content instantly.
• Monitor trends and leverage timely topics to grow the Mortgage Matchup Center TikTok account.
• Support broader department initiatives and perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED; prior internship or college experience managing social pages in entertainment is preferred.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong oral and written communication skills and a high level of confidentiality.
• Passion for entertainment, music, events and social media community building.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, especially Premiere and Photoshop.
• Experience creating, shooting and editing content for real‑time distribution.
• Familiarity with major social platforms: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, Threads, Snapchat.
• Ability to conceptualize unique social content and stay current on platform trends.
