SOC Analyst – Security Operations Center

About the role

Join a fast‑paced security operations team delivering on‑site SOC services for a client in Chandler, AZ. The role involves monitoring network traffic and security events, responding to incidents, and contributing to the continuous improvement of security processes.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze network traffic, IDS alerts, and security logs.
• Prioritize potential intrusion attempts and filter false positives.
• Develop, maintain, and follow SOC Standard Operating Procedures.
• Produce daily and monthly situation reports per shift.
• Review large data sets for anomalous activity and create detective content for IDS/SIEM.
• Track security investigations to resolution and compose alert notifications.
• Advise incident responders on investigation steps and stay current on vulnerabilities and attack techniques.

Required profile

• U.S. citizenship and active Secret clearance.
• High school diploma or GED.
• At least two years of experience in security operations or incident response.
• Ability to work rotating shifts, including overnight.
