Skilled Steel Welder

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Steel Welder to join our team and contribute to the fabrication of structural forms, buildings, and bridge components. The role involves layout, fitting, welding, and assembling metal parts using a variety of welding techniques.

Key responsibilities

• Select equipment and plan layout, assembly, and welding based on geometry and metal properties.
• Lay out, position, align, and fit components; bolt, clamp, and tack‑weld parts for secure welding.
• Set up and operate arc, gas‑shielded arc, submerged arc, and gas welding equipment.
• Assemble parts by bolting or riveting and perform repairs using cutting torches, straightening presses, and hand tools.

Required profile

• Minimum four years of welding experience.
• Relevant AWS certification and certifications for the specific weld types performed.
• Good organization and verbal communication skills.
