Skilled In‑Home Caregiver

About the role

Join Commonwise as a Skilled In‑Home Caregiver and help clients live safely, independently, and with dignity. You’ll provide personalized support in clients’ homes, building lasting relationships with both clients and their families.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring, and feeding.
• Support Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs) including light housekeeping, meal preparation, transportation, and engaging clients in hobbies.
• Build meaningful relationships and act as an advocate for clients within the community.

Required profile

• Compassionate, dependable, and dedicated to helping others thrive.
• Physically able to lift/push/pull 20–50 lbs and perform frequent bending; may include driving.

Required skills

• Strong communicative, auditory and visual abilities.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow care plans.
