About the role
CEG Solutions is seeking a Site Safety Health Officer to oversee occupational health and safety on construction projects in the Washington DC area. You will work on‑site daily, ensuring compliance with safety standards and supporting sustainable energy initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Implement, maintain, and monitor the OH&S Management System in line with ISO 45001.
- Manage the Safety Accident Prevention Plan, conduct inspections, and enforce safety regulations.
- Track and resolve safety and health deficiencies, and ensure subcontractor compliance.
- Assist with project scheduling, site access, risk identification, and business development activities.
Required profile
- Minimum 5 years of construction safety management experience.
- Ability to work irregular hours and perform physical tasks on a construction site.
- US citizenship and eligibility for government security clearance.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
Required skills
- ISO 45001 knowledge.
- OSHA‑30 certification (preferred).
- CSP or ASP certification (preferred).
- Familiarity with EM 385 (a plus).
