Site Reliability Engineer

About the role

Xsolla is seeking a pragmatic, product‑focused Site Reliability Engineer to own the application‑level infrastructure of its high‑traffic commerce platform. You will work closely with product teams to ensure reliability, scalability, and performance of services that power game developers worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design, maintain, and evolve Helm charts, Terraform configurations, and Kubernetes deployments for the domain.
• Define and implement SLOs/SLIs, monitoring, alerts, and dashboards using Datadog and OpenTelemetry.
• Build and improve CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions) with automated deploy and rollback capabilities.
• Conduct capacity planning, performance tuning, load testing, and regression analysis for product launches and sales events.
• Lead Production Readiness Reviews and enforce production‑ready standards.
• Participate in incident response, root‑cause analysis, post‑mortems, and reliability improvements.

Required profile

• Strong background in Kubernetes and cloud environments (GCP/GKE or equivalent).
• Hands‑on experience with observability tooling and software engineering best practices.
• Ability to bridge development and operations, understanding both feature delivery and infrastructure stability.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, collaborative, and dynamic setting.
