Site IT Technician (Entry/Experienced)

About the role

Michelin is hiring a Site IT Technician in Louisville, working for ASRC. The technician responds quickly to internal customers and keeps IT systems available within the facility so all departments can access the information and tools they need. The role suits both entry-level and experienced candidates.

Key responsibilities

• Troubleshoot IT issues: quickly identify and resolve failures to restore services efficiently.
• Manage IT administration: coordinate patch management, software updates and user accounts, and keep an accurate inventory of IT components.
• Maintain accurate documentation for all IT systems.
• Monitor and maintain the IT infrastructure, including switches, servers and client systems.
• Lead IT projects such as new installations and modifications of existing equipment and systems.
• Support the deployment of capital projects as part of a cross-functional team.
• Drive continuous improvement of IT practices and policies.

Required profile

• In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure and tools.
• Proven ability to identify root causes and implement solutions.
• Understanding of IT system administration functions.
• Experience installing, modifying and repairing IT equipment.
• Ability to work with contractors, suppliers, facility craftspeople and corporate resources.
• Proactive attitude toward problem-solving and continuous improvement.
