Site EHS Manager

About the role

ACCIONA Energía is seeking a Site EHS Manager to lead safety and environmental performance on the Fleming Solar Farm construction project in Kentucky. The role serves as the on‑site safety leader, promoting a strong safety culture among employees, contractors and subcontractors while ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Implement ACCIONA HSE policies, the Site Safety Plan, Emergency Action Plan and contractor safety requirements.
• Conduct safety orientations, toolbox talks, daily and weekly safety meetings, and lead incident investigations and root‑cause analyses.
• Perform routine site inspections, audits, risk assessments and ensure timely corrective actions.
• Monitor safety performance metrics, develop safety campaigns and prepare weekly/monthly safety reports.
• Oversee contractor safety documentation, qualifications, permits and work practices.
• Develop and coordinate emergency response plans, drills and operational readiness activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, Engineering, Construction Management or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3‑5 years of progressive safety experience in construction, industrial or renewable energy environments.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, environmental compliance and high‑voltage electrical safety.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather, climb ladders, lift up to 50 lb and travel to the project site.

What we offer

• Base salary $105,000‑$125,000 per year plus a 10 % performance bonus.
