Site Coordinator

About the role

The Site Coordinator oversees daily operations of a youth‑focused branch, ensuring delivery of programs that promote academic success, healthy lifestyles, the arts, good character, citizenship, sports, fitness, and recreation. This role supervises staff and volunteers, manages facilities, and drives community outreach.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and train direct and indirect staff, handling personnel issues.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate programs aligned with organizational goals and youth development outcomes.
• Maintain a safe, well‑maintained facility, equipment, and supplies.
• Control program budgets, compile activity reports, and track attendance.
• Lead membership recruitment and community outreach initiatives.
• Allocate work to volunteers and staff, provide feedback, and conduct regular performance appraisals.
• Ensure accurate record‑keeping of events, participation figures, and any issues.
• Participate in Director/Coordinator meetings and regular staff briefings.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising staff and volunteers in a program‑oriented environment.
• Strong organizational and leadership abilities.
• Ability to manage budgets, produce reports, and oversee facility maintenance.
• Commitment to fostering a safe, inclusive environment for diverse youth participants.
