Simulation Engineer, AI/ML Development

About the role

Rescale is looking for a highly motivated Simulation Engineer to drive AI/ML development on its digital engineering platform. You will become an expert in the Rescale platform, solve complex HPC AI problems for customers, and integrate cutting‑edge AI technologies into CAE workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and enhance AI software products that run on the Rescale platform.
• Integrate AI technologies such as PyTorch, Modulus, and PyG into CAE/CFD/FEA workflows.
• Collaborate with an agile development team and engage directly with customers to tailor solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, stay current with HPC and AI advancements, and contribute to platform documentation.

Required profile

• Advanced degree (PhD preferred) in Machine Learning, Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of industry experience with strong problem‑solving skills and self‑motivation.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and ability to work independently on multiple tasks.

Required skills

• Proficiency with PyTorch, Modulus, PyG.
• Experience in CAE, CFD, or FEA environments.
• REST API development, CUDA, Kubernetes.
• HPC expertise and applying AI to engineering workflows.
