Senior Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability Engineer

About the role

REGENT is scaling its innovative Seaglider transportation platform from prototype to full production. The Senior RAM Engineer will create and lead the reliability, availability, and maintainability program for the Viceroy vehicle, ensuring safety and serviceability throughout its lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Build the RAM program, including reliability predictions, FMECA, and the foundation for the maintenance program.
• Develop a scheduled maintenance program using MSG-3 or RCM methodology and produce supporting documentation.
• Partner with Systems Engineering and Certification to align RAM work with safety analyses and compliance submissions.
• Serve as the liaison between engineering, quality, and manufacturing, translating reliability requirements into producible designs.
• Establish a FRACAS process, lead failure investigations, and drive corrective actions.
• Implement tools, processes, and documentation to scale RAM activities as production ramps.

Required profile

• Proven RAM engineering experience in a regulated, safety‑critical industry (e.g., aerospace, maritime, medical, nuclear).
• Hands‑on experience creating scheduled maintenance programs using MSG‑3 or RCM.
• Strong background in reliability prediction, FMECA/FMEA, Weibull analysis, and FRACAS.
• Familiarity with system safety and certification frameworks such as ARP4761 and ARP4754A.
• Ability to collaborate across engineering, certification, quality, and manufacturing teams.
