Shipping Clerk

About the role

As a Shipping Clerk at Ascentek you will support the flow of goods through our warehouse by managing order fulfillment, transportation planning, and data entry in our Warehouse Management System. This full‑time, first‑shift position offers a supportive environment with extensive benefits.

Key responsibilities

• Prioritize and communicate intercompany transfer needs.
• Identify and report customer order shortages.
• Fulfill sales orders and generate pick lists.
• Use the transportation module to plan and schedule shipments.
• Coordinate with carriers (road, rail, air, sea) and confirm transportation arrangements.
• Ensure Advanced Shipping Notices (ASNs) are completed.
• Maintain compliance with safety and ISO standards.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 2 years of shipping experience.
• Experience with a computerized Warehouse Management System.
• Familiarity with scanned pick and shipment preparation.
• Knowledge of LTL routing and freight classification.
• Strong command of English, basic math skills, and ability to follow written/oral instructions.
• Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and communicate effectively.
