Shipper Receiver

About the role

SLB is looking for a reliable Shipper Receiver (Storekeeper) to manage product and material handling in its Ville Platte, Louisiana warehouse. You will ensure incoming shipments are inspected, recorded, and stored correctly while supporting outgoing orders.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect, label, receive, store, pick, pack, issue, dispose, and cycle count inventory items.
• Accept supplier deliveries, verify condition and match to packing lists or purchase orders, and report discrepancies.
• Prepare outgoing inventory for shipment with accurate documentation.
• Maintain organized bin locations to improve efficiency and safety.
• Keep the warehouse and shipping/receiving areas clean and orderly.
• Perform inventory cycle counts and assist with periodic physical inventories.
• Support kitting, Kanban point‑of‑use replenishment, and other materials‑management initiatives.
• Investigate and resolve local inventory or warehouse issues as directed.
• Operate a forklift or other material‑handling equipment after training and certification.

Required profile

• At least two years of experience as a storeroom clerk or warehouse worker.
• Legal right to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Preferably a local candidate to Ville Platte.
• Forklift operator certification or ability to obtain it.
• Experience with SAP is a plus.
