Shift Supervisor – Retail Coffee Store

About the role

As a Shift Supervisor you will lead a coffeehouse team, ensuring each customer enjoys a warm, welcoming experience. You’ll balance operational excellence with genuine hospitality, creating meaningful moments for the community.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain regular attendance and punctuality, working flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and holidays.
• Follow store operating policies for beverage and food quality, cash handling, safety and security.
• Prepare and coach partners on standard and customized recipes, adjusting temperature, ingredient quantities, or substitutions as needed.
• Delegate tasks and coordinate the work of two or more partners during each shift.

Required profile

• At least six months of experience interacting directly with customers.
• At least six months of experience delegating or coordinating tasks for multiple team members.
• Ability to direct the work of others and learn quickly.
• Effective oral communication and strong interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of a retail environment and ability to work as part of a team.
