Shift Lead - Restaurant

About the role

This is a Shift Lead position at a Taco Bell franchise in Pratt, Kansas, within the restaurant management career area. You support the Restaurant General Manager (RGM) by running great shifts in a self-sufficient way, taking ownership of problems and helping colleagues. Key responsibilities

• Run shifts consistently, ensuring customer satisfaction, neat appearance and company uniform, and resolving complaints quickly
• Complete the MIC (Manager-In-Charge) success routine and make sure Team Members finish their shift excellence tasks
• Work with the RGM, follow the posted schedule, use the approved timekeeping system and give advance notice when you cannot work
• Develop people through regular, constructive feedback and active participation in training
• Help with profit and loss management, cash control, security, inventory and labor, and oversee product preparation, rotation, portioning and cooking times
• Follow health and safety standards, assist with facility maintenance and perform other duties asked by the manager

Required profile

• At least 18 years old, able to pass a background check and drug test
• Reliable transportation and ability to do basic business math
• Able to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs and stoop for 90% of a shift
• Strong preference for internal promotion from the Hourly Champion position

Employees typically average 30+ hours per week, depending on operational needs. Hours may vary, and duties can be changed or added by management at any time.
