Set Up/Tear Down Crew - Part Time

About the role

Legends Global, which manages privately owned public assembly venues, is hiring part-time Set Up/Tear Down Crew for the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center in Sioux Falls. The role covers many physical tasks changing the venue between events, helping to clean the building and keep up with outside grounds maintenance as needed. Adverse weather conditions may be involved.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, align and strike portable chairs, tables, pipe and drape, staging and bleachers.
• Help maintain the outside grounds, including lawn care and snow removal as needed.
• Assist with cleaning and sanitizing the building as needed.
• Use mechanical equipment such as vacuum cleaners, floor scrubbers, buffers and carpet cleaners.
• Empty trash receptacles.
• Perform other tasks as required by the supervisor or manager.

Required profile

• Able to read, write, hear and speak English.
• Must pass a background check.
• Valid driver's license preferred.
• Physical demands include constant standing, walking and stooping, climbing stairs, and daily lifting or carrying up to 50 lbs for up to 5 minutes at a time.
• Irregular hours including nights, weekends and holidays may be required depending on the event schedule.
