Service Technician – Zaterra

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician for its Zaterra portfolio in Chandler, Arizona. The role focuses on maintaining the physical condition of buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas to meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders generated from resident service requests and perform preventative maintenance.
• Diagnose the source of defects or problems and execute repairs in line with company policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Manage the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments, including pre‑move‑out inspections, creating punch lists, scheduling vendors, and procuring necessary supplies.
• Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to established procedures and regulatory guidelines.

Required profile

• Experience performing technical and mechanical work in a residential or commercial property setting.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders and maintenance documentation.
• Strong attention to safety standards and building codes.
• Effective communication skills for coordinating with residents, vendors, and internal teams.
