Service Technician – Villas at Old Concord

About the role

We are looking for a Service Technician to maintain the Villas at Old Concord in Billerica. The role ensures that all building systems, grounds, and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for safety, cleanliness, and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests and complete preventative maintenance work orders, diagnosing issues and performing repairs in line with policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, creating punch lists, coordinating vendors, obtaining supplies, completing repairs, and final inspections.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, tracking usage, returning unused items, and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and promptly to ensure proper tracking.
• Maintain grounds and common areas by removing trash, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, general cleaning, and painting curbs or signage as needed.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts whenever possible and using materials efficiently.
• Participate in safety and risk‑management meetings and adhere to Greystar’s safety policies.

Required profile

• Ability to complete work orders and preventative maintenance tasks independently.
• Strong attention to detail for inspections, documentation, and inventory management.
• Willingness to follow safety procedures and attend regular safety meetings.
• Physical capability to perform cleaning, pressure‑washing, and minor painting tasks.
