Service Technician – Quaker Court, University City

About the role

We are looking for a Service Technician to maintain the physical condition of the Quaker Court community in University City. The role ensures that apartments, common areas, grounds and amenities meet Greystar’s standards for safety, appearance and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests and complete work orders, diagnosing issues and performing repairs in line with safety codes and company policies.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, coordinating vendors, and final quality checks.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies and equipment, tracking usage and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Document all service activities accurately and promptly for tracking and compliance.
• Maintain common areas and grounds by cleaning, pressure‑washing, trash removal and minor painting tasks.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts whenever possible.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant trade certifications are a plus.
• Ability to work independently, follow safety procedures and communicate effectively with residents and vendors.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high property standards.
