Service Technician – Preventative Maintenance HVAC

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Service Technician to perform preventative maintenance on residential and commercial HVAC systems in the Raleigh area. The role ensures optimal performance, efficiency, and longevity of heating, ventilation, and air‑conditioning equipment through scheduled inspections, cleaning, and minor repairs.

Key responsibilities

• Perform scheduled maintenance on air conditioners, furnaces, heat pumps, and ventilation systems.
• Inspect and replace air filters, belts, and other components as needed.
• Clean condenser and evaporator coils and drain lines to maintain system efficiency.
• Check refrigerant levels, test electrical connections, and lubricate moving parts.
• Identify and report potential issues before they become major repairs.
• Document maintenance activities and communicate findings to service managers and customers.
• Follow company and EPA safety protocols for refrigerant handling.
• Provide exceptional customer service and educate clients on proper system care.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in an organized manner.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience in HVAC maintenance or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC systems and mechanical components.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow checklists.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to lift up to 50 lb.
• Excellent communication skills, punctuality, and strong work ethic.
