About the role
Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to support the Madison property in Sacramento. The role ensures that buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality.
Key responsibilities
- Complete resident work orders and preventative maintenance tasks, diagnosing issues and performing repairs in line with safety and code requirements.
- Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, and final quality checks.
- Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, tracking usage and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
- Document service requests accurately and promptly for proper tracking.
- Maintain grounds and common areas by trash removal, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, general cleaning, and painting curbs or signage as needed.
- Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts whenever possible.
Required profile
- Availability to work weekends as required.
- Ability to follow Greystar safety and risk‑management policies.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to complete paperwork accurately.
