Service Technician

About the role

ADT is seeking a Service Technician to install, troubleshoot, and maintain residential security and automation solutions. You will work directly with customers at their homes or businesses, ensuring their safety systems operate reliably.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, and program fire, carbon monoxide, video, access control, and other security systems.
• Perform wired and wireless networking tasks and follow connection procedures.
• Test and validate system signals and communication with central monitoring.
• Provide on‑site customer support, explaining system functions and resolving issues.
• Collaborate with teammates in a dynamic, customer‑focused environment.

Required profile

• Prior service or field‑work experience.
• Strong technical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
• Excellent verbal communication and customer‑service orientation.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to uncertainty.
• Valid driver’s license.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
