Service Technician

About the role

The Service Technician will join Nissan Newport News to diagnose, repair, and maintain a range of Nissan vehicles. This full‑time position requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high‑quality service in a clean, safe, and temperature‑controlled environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues using dealership‑approved procedures.
• Test drive vehicles to evaluate performance and confirm repairs.
• Utilize diagnostic equipment and tools to identify and correct malfunctions.
• Complete repair orders, maintain accurate documentation, and communicate findings to Service Advisors.
• Execute warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications.

Required profile

• At least 2 years of experience as an automotive technician.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle systems and components.
• Excellent problem‑solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
