Service Technician – Cantera

About the role

The Service Technician for the Cantera property ensures that all building systems, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, appearance, and functionality. This full‑time, onsite role supports residents by addressing maintenance requests and preparing vacant units for new occupants.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders generated from resident service requests and perform preventative maintenance.
• Diagnose defects, determine root causes, and execute repairs in line with company policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Manage the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments, including pre‑move‑out inspections, creating punch lists, scheduling vendors, and procuring necessary supplies.
• Maintain accurate records of completed tasks and communicate status updates to supervisors.

Required profile

• Ability to follow established safety procedures and building codes.
• Strong attention to detail when inspecting units and common areas.
• Effective communication skills for coordinating with residents, vendors, and internal teams.
