Service Technician – Bent Tree Fountains

About the role

The Service Technician for Bent Tree Fountains ensures that building systems, grounds, and common‑area amenities meet Greystar’s standards for safety, appearance, and functionality. This full‑time position works on‑site in Addison, Texas, handling resident requests, preventative maintenance, and make‑ready preparations for vacant units.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident service requests and perform preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and repairing according to policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Execute the make‑ready process for vacant apartments, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement, maintenance tasks, and final quality checks.
• Maintain inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, track usage, and notify the supervisor of re‑order needs.
• Assist with grounds and amenity upkeep such as trash removal, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, general cleaning, and painting of curbs and signage.
• Inspect contractor and vendor work to verify compliance with quality standards and specifications.

Required profile

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb ladders, and work in all weather conditions; lift up to 25 lb independently and 50 lb with assistance.
• Flexible schedule including on‑call duties during evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Valid driver’s license for operating a golf cart on the property when required.
• EPA Type I, Type II, or Universal refrigerant recycling certification and any state/local certifications required for service technicians.
