Service Technician – Automotive Repair

About the role

Classic Hyundai of Hampton is seeking certified Service Technicians to join a growing automotive team in a clean, temperature‑controlled shop. The role involves diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing Hyundai vehicles while delivering excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Perform repair work according to the repair order, dealership, and manufacturer policies.
• Test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment; conduct test drives.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems.
• Communicate directly with Service Advisors to keep customers informed of additional service needs.
• Complete online multi‑point inspection reports.
• Execute warranty repairs to manufacturer specifications.

Required profile

• Knowledge of all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance.
• Fast learner with strong written and verbal communication.
• Good customer service orientation and teamwork.
• Computer literate and able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
• Valid driver’s license.
