Service Supervisor – The Beverly (Temporary)

About the role

The Service Supervisor for The Beverly community ensures that all building systems, grounds, amenities and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality. This temporary, full‑time position supports resident satisfaction by managing maintenance requests and preparing vacant units for new occupants.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to and complete work orders generated from resident service requests, diagnosing issues and performing repairs in line with company policies and safety codes.
• Oversee the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments, including pre‑move‑out inspections, creating punch lists, scheduling vendors, and ensuring units are ready for leasing.
• Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for specialized repairs, obtaining quotes and supervising work quality.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inventory of supplies, and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Conduct routine upkeep of common areas, landscaping, and building exteriors to preserve property appearance.

Required profile

• Proven experience in property maintenance or facilities management, preferably in multifamily residential settings.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail when diagnosing mechanical or structural issues.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with residents, vendors and internal teams.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple work orders and meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with basic mechanical, electrical, plumbing and HVAC repairs.
• Familiarity with building codes, safety regulations and maintenance best practices.
• Competence in using maintenance management software to track work orders and inventory.
