Service Supervisor – The Alder

About the role

The Service Supervisor ensures that all interior and exterior building components, grounds, amenities and common areas of The Alder community meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality. This full‑time position combines hands‑on technical work with coordination of maintenance activities and vendor services. The role reports to property management and supports resident satisfaction through timely repairs.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to and complete work orders generated from resident service requests and routine upkeep, diagnosing the source of defects and performing repairs in line with company policies, safety standards and code requirements.
• Oversee the make‑ready process for vacant apartments, including pre‑move‑out inspections, creating punch lists, scheduling vendors and contractors, and procuring necessary supplies and materials.
• Perform routine technical and mechanical maintenance on building systems, grounds, amenities and common areas to ensure proper appearance and functionality.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external service providers to schedule and track maintenance activities, ensuring timely completion and documentation.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used and compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Required profile

• Proven ability to diagnose building defects and execute repairs following established procedures.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple work orders, punch lists and vendor schedules.
• Familiarity with safety protocols and local building codes.
• Ability to work independently on‑site while maintaining clear communication with residents and management.
• Commitment to delivering high‑quality service and upholding Greystar’s standards.
