Service Supervisor – Monterey Village

About the role

The Service Supervisor ensures that the interior and exterior of Monterey Village, including buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas, meet Greystar’s high standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality. This role combines hands‑on maintenance work with oversight of make‑ready processes and vendor coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests and complete work orders, diagnosing issues and performing repairs in line with policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Manage the make‑ready process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor scheduling, supply procurement, and final inspections.
• Develop and maintain standards for the appearance of grounds, building exteriors, breezeways, signage, leasing office, garbage areas, parking lots, and other common spaces.
• Inspect work performed by service team members, contractors, and vendors to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and maintenance materials, coordinating with the Community Manager to stay within budget.
• Execute monthly preventative maintenance procedures as outlined in the policy manual.

Required profile

• Proven experience in property maintenance or facilities management.
• Ability to diagnose mechanical and technical issues and perform repairs safely.
• Strong organizational skills for managing work orders, inventories, and make‑ready timelines.
• Effective communication skills for coordinating with residents, vendors, and internal teams.
