Service Supervisor – Avana Powell Valley

About the role

The Service Supervisor ensures that the interior and exterior of the Avana Powell Valley community, including grounds, amenities, and common areas, meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality. This role combines hands‑on technical work with oversight of maintenance activities.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests, diagnose issues, and perform repairs in line with policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Manage the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, and final quality checks.
• Develop and enforce standards for the appearance of grounds, building exteriors, breezeways, signage, parking areas, and other common spaces.
• Inspect work performed by service team members and external contractors to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies, collaborating with the Community Manager to stay within budget.
• Execute monthly preventative maintenance tasks as outlined in the policy manual.

Required profile

• Experience in property or facilities maintenance, preferably in multifamily housing.
• Ability to diagnose mechanical and technical issues and perform repairs safely.
• Strong organizational skills for managing work orders, inventories, and vendor schedules.
• Attention to detail in inspecting work quality and maintaining community standards.
