Service Manager – Automotive Service Department

About the role

Classic Hyundai of Hampton is seeking an experienced Service Manager to lead its service department. You will be responsible for delivering an outstanding customer experience while ensuring efficient workflow and high‑quality service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure customers receive prompt, courteous, and effective service.
• Act as the primary liaison between technicians and customers.
• Hire, interview, and onboard technicians and service advisors.
• Distribute work, prioritize service orders, and manage daily schedules.
• Develop strategies to increase department revenue and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain communication with customers regarding service status and resolve issues quickly.
• Oversee inventory, parts ordering, and compliance with safety and company policies.
• Train, mentor, and motivate staff to meet performance targets.

Required profile

• Proven experience in automotive service management or a similar role.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Customer‑focused mindset with solid problem‑solving abilities.
• Valid driver’s license.
