Service Bartender - Freedom Mortgage Pavilion

About the role

The Service Bartender position provides exceptional guest service within the Premium Service Department, working in the Bars, Suites, In-Seat or Restaurant environment at the Freedom Mortgage Pavilion. The role is part of a larger hospitality operation run by Legends Global, a global agency that delivers solutions for brands across professional sports, collegiate, attractions, entertainment, international and convention sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Provide exceptional guest service to team members.
• Deliver timely, efficient and accurate service of beverage orders.
• Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to standard recipes while keeping liquor controls in line with company policy.
• Set up, maintain and clean the workstation; keep the work area clean, neat and safe.
• Follow product handling and inventory procedures and comply with TIPS training and the Legends Alcohol Awareness Policy when serving alcohol.
• Carry out assigned opening and closing duties.
• Be knowledgeable of other food, beverage and retail outlets within the stadium.

Required profile

• At least 18 years old; high school diploma or equivalent, some college preferred.
• 2 to 3 years of work in a fast-paced bar, high-end club or restaurant.
• Ability to work all events, including extended hours, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Able to lift and move items weighing 10-30 pounds, occasionally 50 pounds, and to reach, bend, stoop, wipe, push and pull for long periods.
• Read, speak and write English to communicate with guests.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation, service standards, guest relations and etiquette.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
• Ability to interact with co-workers to meet service standards.

What we offer

• Pay of $11 per hour plus tips.
