Beverage Supervisor - Freedom Mortgage Pavilion

About the role

The Beverage Supervisor directs all activities of the beverage department at the Freedom Mortgage Pavilion in Camden. The role covers the overall operation and financial responsibility of the beverage outlet, working closely with the Purchasing Manager and the F&B team.

Key responsibilities

• Direct all activities of the beverage department and maintain the highest standards of beverage quality, service and marketing to maximise profits.
• Conduct monthly inventory to ensure all alcoholic beverages are accounted for, and monitor inventory and pricing daily.
• Coordinate the movement of beverages and equipment per restaurant and catering operations.
• Develop and institute beverage training for the F&B team, including state and local beverage laws and regulations.
• Work with the Purchasing Manager on beverage orders and help develop the drink menu.
• Provide a safe and reliable environment for customers and employees, following safety policies and reporting incidents through the company's risk management system.

Required profile

• Ability to work long hours and flexible shifts, including mornings, nights, weekends and holidays.
• College degree preferred; Food & Beverage and/or restaurant experience preferred.
• Excellent knowledge of food and beverage preparation, service standards, guest relations and etiquette.
• English reading, speaking and writing ability to interact with staff and guests.
• Punctual, dependable, able to work independently or in a team, and able to make quick, accurate decisions under pressure.
