Service Bartender - Coca-Cola Amphitheater

About the role

The Service Bartender position provides exceptional guest service within the Premium Service Department, working in the Bars, Suites, In-Seat or Restaurant environment at the Coca-Cola Amphitheater in Birmingham. The role is part of a collective team in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.

Key responsibilities

• Provide exceptional guest service to team members.
• Deliver timely, efficient and accurate service of beverage orders.
• Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes while maintaining liquor controls in line with company policy.
• Set up, maintain and clean the workstation, keeping the work area clean, neat and safe.
• Follow product handling and inventory policies and procedures.
• Serve alcohol responsibly under TIPS training and the Legends Alcohol Awareness Policy.
• Carry out assigned opening and closing duties.
• Be knowledgeable of other food, beverage and retail outlets within the stadium.

Required profile

• At least 18 years old; high school diploma or equivalent, some college preferred.
• Two to three years of experience in a fast-paced bar, high-end club or restaurant.
• Ability to work all events, including extended hours, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Able to lift and move items weighing 10-30 pounds, occasionally 50 pounds, and to work with constant reaching, bending and stooping for long periods.
• English reading, speaking and writing ability to communicate with guests.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation, service standards, guest relations and etiquette.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
• Ability to interact with co-workers to meet company service standards.
