Bartender - Coca-Cola Amphitheater

About the role

Legends Global is recruiting Concessions Bartenders for the Coca-Cola Amphitheater in Birmingham. Bartenders provide positive guest interactions while accurately mixing and serving beverages to guests and servers in a friendly and efficient manner.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests, take beverage orders from restaurant servers or directly from guests, and serve drinks in line with company standards
• Mix cocktails and other bar beverages using high-quality spirits, liqueurs, fruits, fresh herbs and spices
• Serve wine, explain its characteristics, evaluate guests' needs and suggest appropriate options using proper wine service techniques
• Work with the culinary team to create mixers and garnishes, and check guest identification to verify age requirements for alcohol
• Handle an assigned bank, collect payments, balance receipts and follow cash-handling procedures
• Keep the bar area stocked, prepare inventory or purchase requisitions, and serve food items to guests seated at the bar
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and cater storage areas, and attend mandatory meetings

Required profile

• At least two years of experience as a bartender
• Ability to work long hours and flexible shifts, including mornings, nights, weekends and holidays
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs continuously and to work independently or in a team
• Excellent knowledge of food and beverage products, menus, promotions, service standards, guest relations and etiquette
• Personable, friendly and welcoming; must be able to read, speak and write English

Required skills

• Extensive knowledge of drink recipes and wines, and ability to create and serve drinks on time
• Ability to remember and promote menu items
• Working email to communicate with managers
