Service Administrator

About the role

Sandvik Mining is seeking a Service Administrator to support its Field Service Team in Elko, NV. This in‑office position involves setting up jobs, tracking work‑in‑progress orders, and ensuring timely delivery of parts and services for mining equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Open and manage work orders for billable, warranty, and pre‑delivery inspection jobs.
• Order parts and external services, coordinating with vendors.
• Process documentation for all WIP orders and maintain system records.
• Prepare quotes, invoices, and close service jobs.
• Respond to internal and customer inquiries regarding parts availability, delivery times, and order status.
• Generate monthly reports for the team and customers.
• Enter and close warranty claims.
• Maintain system data: branches, technicians, labor rates, user authorizations.
• Assist coworkers with system access and training.
• Perform administrative tasks such as ordering safety equipment and uniforms.

Required profile

• Experience in an industrial environment, preferably with inventory or office administration.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively with field technicians and internal teams.
• Excellent communication skills for internal and customer interactions.
